Our Environmental, Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the EHS department and contribute to the application of effective Environmental, Health and Safety and management across all departments.


Our Environmental, Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the EHS department and contribute to the application of effective Environmental, Health and Safety and management across all departments.

What you'll do:
  • Manage EHS compliance through risk assessments, inspections/audits, incident investigations (RCA), and waste/environmental management.
  • Maintain, improve and implement EHS programs, policies, logs, documentation, and required reports; ensure adherence to laws and company procedures.
  • Advise management on EHS issues and recommendations; drive cultural change and incident prevention.
  • Manage PPE and safety equipment procurement, inspection, maintenance, and proper use.
  • Deliver EHS training, meetings, and certifications; lead/participate in the Plant Safety Committee.
  • Maintain regular floor presence to spot/correct hazards and support safe work practices.
  • Coordinate emergency response and first aid; build strong relationships with employees, managers, customers, and regulators; perform other related duties as needed.


  • What it takes:
  • Knowledge/experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • NEBOSH (National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety) or equivalent qualifications an advantage
  • Experience of presentations and training
  • Working with EHS data systems, inputting data and maintaining systems
  • Respect the importance of confidentiality, as you will be dealing with employee’s personal details.
  • Be confident about gathering facts and statistics
  • Be patient, tactful, diplomatic and approachable
  • Recording information accurately
  • Good problem solver
  • Analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written 
  • Interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Attention to detail is a must
