Job Summary:
The Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role supporting SE’s core lines of operations to achieve overall performance targets and transition to new or improved operational solutions. The role will assist and support in the analysis, design, development, documentation, as well as testing and training effort associated with new and existing technologies and processes to support operations. The Business Analyst will work with the project team and key stakeholders, support any implementation effort in alignment with enterprise standard workflow, operations, and clinical best practices. This may include new program launches, process improvement, and new technology deployment.
Duration: 12-month contract with the possibility of extension
Job Responsibilities:
Site Lead / Trainer
- Utilize project management methodologies and act as the implementation project coordinator by preparing project timelines for clients through a complete project life cycle - planning, designing, development, testing, end user training, implementation support and adoption
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with project teams to facilitate the delivery of project outcomes, including setting agendas, documenting meeting notes, and tracking action items.
- Analyze client’s existing processes and integrate solutions into their workflows through workflow analysis; ensuring client comfort and adoption of the solution
- Support activities and training with business users on new / improved operational processes, deployment of new technologies and applications in support of operational processes
- Serve as the primary contact for the client during the implementation for ongoing support and technical requests. Build and maintain business relationship with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation that enables quality and process improvement for field staff
Solution Analyst
- Working within SE’s Business Analysis Framework, support reviews of business processes and solutions, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Assist with functional analysis, design, development, testing, validation, and deployment of solutions
- Assist in eliciting and documenting business requirements (including artifacts such as BRD, configuration workbook, process flow diagrams, wireframes, mock ups) based on business needs
- Assist in assessment, development, and optimization of existing and new business processes to meet defined objectives
- Maintains data quality by monitoring the consistency and accuracy of data entered into solution
- Function as a subject matter expert and liaison between key stakeholders including, but not limited to: solution vendor, business sponsors, clinical sponsors, and multidisciplinary project team to design and deploy solutions
- Understand application requirements from different client groups and identify the impact on various functions within the organization (e.g. clinical, operational, quality)
- Assess the need for system reconfiguration and enhancement based on user requests, organization vision, clinical and business requirements and assist in deployment of changes per change control process
- Provide on-going support including testing of application feature releases and upgrades and resolution of application system incidents including root cause analysis, impact analysis, and other tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications in Lean, PMI certification, IIBA are an asset
- Demonstrated working experience of at least a year as a Business Analyst in similar industry (healthcare)
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Jira, Balsamiq, or similar).
- Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to stakeholders
- Understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders across departments
- Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvement
