The lead hand of Crew scheduling must give his/her support to the coordinators by updating all the necessary information to facilitate the smooth running of daily operations with the crew members.
Job Description:- Follow-up on procedures and SharePoint updates
- Monitor coordinators' knowledge and training
- Ensure smooth operations
- Responsible for the good knowledge and the application by the coordinators of the collective agreements of the crew members as well as the regulations of Transport-Canada
- Development and upkeep of the procedure manual
- Responsible for the training of the Crew Scheduling coordinators
- Responsible for ensuring the follow-up of the flight training of the PNT during daily operations
- The incumbent must also control the quality of monthly travel and accommodation reservations for crew members
- Follow-up with various departments and unions
- Coordinate sub-contracts and/or special operations
- High school diploma
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in crew management
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a position regulated by Transport Canada
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in team management
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian regulations (CARs)
- Excellent knowledge of PNT and PNC collective agreements
- Strong training and pedagogical follow-up skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Initiative, excellent communication skills
- Quick adaptation to change
- Task prioritization
- Excellent motivational leadership and decision-making ability
- Sociability, dynamism, and leadership
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency with various software, including MS Office
- Bilingualism (French and English)*
- Knowledge of AIMS and Sabre systems is an asset
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
