Overview

As a Utility Operator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our press operations. You’ll work closely with the Press Operator and Production Manager to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality production runs. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare press equipment and materials for daily production schedules
  • Set up and operate printing system components
  • Make real-time adjustments to press systems to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance and service on utility equipment
  • Keep accurate records, logs, and documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the Production Manager
  • Manage and track utility spare parts inventory

 

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in printing or a related manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with flexographic press operation and setup
  • Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, stooping)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Preferred:

  • Experience in the lottery or gaming industry

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $29,120 - $52,458. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. 

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
