Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitors daily production efficiency. Ensures proper work order completion with respect to all quality and quantity standards.
- Coordinates and sets up machines, robots and other equipment performing necessary tests to ensure company compliance. Trains employees in the correct procedures for operation as needed.
- Gathers information and history to establish trends and help solve problems. Prepares summary reports for supervisors to evaluate.
- Provides feedback to engineering on status of work instructions and any corrections or improvements needed.
- Coordinates and sets up machines, robots and other equipment and performs necessary tests to aid in production. Trains and demonstrates to employees in the correct procedures for work center operation, as needed.
- Assist in the training of employees in proper work methods for safe and efficient performance of job duties.
- Maintains records, files and other documentation pertinent to assignments.
- Develops technical skills by attending training classes, seminars, exhibits and trade shows.
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.
Specifications
- Associates in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5+ years of CNC experience (mutli-axis preferred)
- Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Ability to process associated departmental equipment such as Electric Milacron, hydraulic Engel machines or Studer, EMAG, Gildemeister, Schuler, Hanwha, Kummer etc.and various robots including Engel and Fanuc.
- Ability to understand, modify, adjust, and reprogram associated departmental equipment such as Siemens and Fanuc controllers.
