The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is hiring a Court Services Operations Manager. The Court Services Operations Manager provides operational and administrative oversight to the competency
and sanity unit. They will serve as the point of contact for the courts and court administration. They will work in line with the Lead Psychologist to ensure the courts’ needs are recognized and develop plans of action as needed. Duties will include data collection, management and analysis related to court orders and staffing patterns. This analysis will be instrumental in proactively forecasting unit needs and trainings within court administration and the courts demand. Other duties include the supervision of the Court Liaison and Administrative staff to ensure accurate data collection and utilization of the ERTS system.
Your role in Action
- Maintain flow of information for court orders using multiple systems and effectively communicates
with judges, attorneys and other court staff as needed. - Provides routine office support according to departmental/organizational procedures such as:
answering phone calls, responding to emails, coordination of court orders, distributing orders, updating system details, typing and filing. - Oversees the data entry and assembly on a daily basis to maintain accurate information for reporting.
- Compiles reports and distributes according to departmental/organizational procedures.
- Ensures administrative support for the Lead Psychologist in accordance with departmental/organizational procedures is provided.
- Complies with The Harris Center and HCSO policies and procedures, accrediting/regulatory bodies and contractual requirements.
- Communicates and works with staff/patients/outside personnel in a manner that demonstrates
sensitivity to cultural diversities. - Performs other related duties as assigned. Adapts to changing work requirements.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent).
Experience:
- 5 years of general office experience required or
Requires Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- The person must have well developed interpersonal, organizational skills and be a team player with a desire to provide high level customer service.
- Possess strong verbal and communications skills and interacts effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Requires a typing speed of 35 wpm and must pass all clerical support skills test at a minimum average of 55 or above.
- Good interpersonal and public relation skills.
- Solid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Well organized and project management skills.
- Able to work well independently and willing to work on assigned shift/days.
