Job Summary: 

We are looking for a warehouse associate with responsibilities as a backup / occasional box truck driver. You'll be at the center of our state-of-the-art sharpening center where we sharpen and process 80,000+ knives and blades for our customers. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Plan, schedule and execute all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met. Maintains quality compliance.• Ensure that the shipping schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are completed properly. Apply sound communication to carrier base as well as receiving facilities.• Ensure that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion within prescribed cost levels. Develop and implement an effective receiving operation that minimizes cost and ensures receiving paperwork is processed accurately and promptly.• Checks and unloads inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product and picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with high level of productivity.• Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork• Counts/verifies and records all product coming into or shipping out of the building, ensuring that all product is properly counted.• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure the optimal utilization of dock space.• Records: Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.• Monitor the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and the facility.• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse security. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety; ensure compliance in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards. Ability to drive 26 FT box truck as needed.• Other duties: As assigned by Management.
