Registered Nurse, Pre Op (FT Days) bei Three Crosses Regional Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather complete medical history, including allergies, current medications, past surgeries, and family history.
• Complete physical and verbal assessments before admission to identify any surgical concerns.
• Order any pre-op tests needed, including blood work, EKGs, x-rays, etc.
• Educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Consistently review your charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure
• Will cross train to PAT and PACU to assist as needed

Requirements:

• Associates Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center preferred
• Current  State Registered Nurse License
• Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS Certifications
