Job Details
Description
Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a talented motion graphics artist to produce a suite of short form lecture videos (15-20 min) that bring complex ideas to life through visual storytelling. These projects will rely heavily on motion graphics with VFX and 3D modeled elements—rather than the typical SME interviews or extensive liveaction footage—to create immersive, educational experiences. Dunwoody Immersive is a new dual credit program that provides college courses in the technical and skilled trades fields to high school students. The curriculum will also utilize immersive technology to simulate learning labs in combination with lectures and assignments in the college’s Learning Management System (Canvas) and provide educational opportunities to students across the country.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to content that informs, inspires, and empowers learners. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of storytelling, technical craft, and instructional impact with the agility to work across both structured production pipelines as well with open‑ended/creative development.
What you will get to do:
-
Transform pre‑scripted materials into compelling, short‑form educational videos
-
Design and animate 2D and/or 3D motion graphics that clarify complex concepts and reinforce key learning points
-
Integrate VFX and visual elements to enhance narrative flow and learner engagement
-
Ensure all visual storytelling aligns with defined instructional goals and learning outcomes
-
Manage the full creative process, from concept and design through animation, editing, and delivery.
-
(As needed) Capture supplemental footage—such as 360° walkthroughs, SME interviews, or real‑world demonstrations—to enrich the final product
