PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Bag Runner is responsible for assisting the airline ticket counter staff with the loading of passenger luggage onto the conveyer belt and spacing out luggage to prevent luggage jams on the conveyor belt. The bag runner will safely transport oversized passenger luggage from the ticket counter to TSA for screening and processing. Examples of oversized, unusually shaped luggage may include skis, pet kennels, musical instruments, audio/visual equipment, medical equipment, medical devices, and strollers. The bag runner must adhere to all airport and government policies and regulations.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED AT THE APPLICABLE RATE, TO INCLUDE AC ACCESS, CABIN CLEANING, WHEELCHAIR.

PHYICSAL REQUIRMENTS:
• Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift.
• Capable of lifting, holding, or carrying up to 75 pounds repetitively.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must have a reliable telephone number for contact.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test as required (DOT or Non-DOT) and submit
to random testing requirements.
