Reporting to the Vice President of Global & Strategic Accounts, the Senior Director Global & Strategic Account Cluster - Consumer, North America, leads a global account team focusing on UL Solutions accounts identified as Consumer. Increase Account growth strategy across all 3 Segments, ensure seamless delivery of solutions to strategic accounts and execute Commercial Excellence processes. Drives commercial collaborating across the organization. Leads development of account specific go to market strategies and executing them across Customer Operating Units and with top customers across the UL Solutions portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead  a comprehensive sales coverage approach that provides the right levels of support to our top account customers
  • strategies, planning and execution across key vertical segments and with top clients. 
  • Drive  a consistent GTM model engaging the COU and regional sales leaders to achieve an aligned go-to-market for maximum coverage, growth and return.
  • Understand regulatory changes and maintain relationship with key external stakeholders
  • Attend Leadership Meetings, present strategy and GTM execution
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of team to execute, achieve key performance indicators while maintaining alignment on the company’s longer-term strategic goals
  • Manage the Global Accounts; UL’s key strategic Industrial accounts with centralized purchasing organization
  • Provide support and direction for specific challenges that have major impact on the business
  • Collaborate with business groups and functions to drive an aligned execution plan.
  • Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback, and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • University degree (equivalent to bachelor’s degree) in business or a related discipline with preferably 10+ years’ experience in global commercial leadership
  • Highly commercial visionary, strategic thinker who leads the change in the market 
  • High degree of accountability and proven record of building a high performing sales engine, driving results and exceeding financial targets
  • Human and engaging, building a culture of trust, inspiration, drive and growth
  • Skilled at identifying both disruptive and sustaining innovations
  • Able to partner and lead partnership across global, matrixed, and cross-functional divisions/teams 
  • Expert and disciplined communicator.
  • Strong collaborator, driving team engagement and team building.
  • Excellent facilitation, project planning and management.
  • Strong business acumen. 
  • Budget management, negotiation, and financial analysis skills.
  • Very strong capabilities and experience working with senior executive leaders, adept at critical stakeholder management.
  • Expert management abilities to guide direct reports and matrixed resources

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $183,600 to $244,800 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 30 % of the base salary and long term incentive plan of 30% of base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (20 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
