Cook Responsibilities include:
- Assist in creating menus and preparing restaurant-style meals for the residents in our community.
- Prepares daily menu items as needed, following proper food handling techniques using SERV Safe standards.
- Maintains cooking equipment and performs daily cleaning duties.
- Offers excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Covers, labels, dates, and stores leftover items properly.
Requirements
Cook Qualifications:
- At least one year of prior cooking experience is required; preferably in a restaurant or country club setting.
- Culinary arts degree and line cooking or ala carte experience preferred.
- SERV Safe Certification and exhibition cooking or catering experience helpful.
