Description
Manages, supports and develops the Commercial Operations Area and its employees. Interviews, hires and trains new employees for the division. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Requirements
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills:
Very High- level understanding and expertise of commercial services and loan products, policies, regulations, loan underwriting concepts and lending risks are required including understanding and proficient knowledge of the following:
- Commercial lending regulations such as NCUA 723.4 and others, timelines, and documentation requirements and disclosures.
- Personal financial statements, cash flows and financial spreads.
- Commercial loan forms including notes, titles, UCC forms, liens and lien perfection.
- Understanding organizational types and documents.
- Monitoring for construction and development loans including evaluating draw requests, site inspections, permits, zoning and environmental evaluation.
