Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Janitor/General Laborer is responsible for the cleanliness of our manufacturing and office facilities. This role is essential to ensuring a hygienic, organized and productive work environment for all employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum in designated areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and ensure proper disposal.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Clean windows, sills, walls and surfaces as needed.
• Maintain Janitorial equipment and notify supervisor of needed repairs.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and facility support when required.
• Respond promptly to spills, hazards, or urgent cleaning needs.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in an industrial or office setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment: 

Office/Manufacturing environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc. 

This position that entails walking, sitting, standing, bending, reading, seeing, hearing, speaking, concentrating, and communicating.
