Position Overview: The IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a critical role in supporting the technical infrastructure and digital tools that enable the inTransition program to deliver seamless behavioral health transition services to service members and veterans. This role ensures the integration, functionality, and security of healthcare-related software systems used by the program’s contact center and coaching staff.

Job Type: Full-time/Exempt
Location: National Capital Region
Anticipated Start Date: 11/01/2025
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for healthcare and contact center platforms, including troubleshooting and user support.
- Ensure smooth integration of software applications, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and service management tools like ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with program leadership and data analysts to support secure data access, reporting, and system optimization.
- Maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity and privacy standards.
- Support onboarding and training of staff on IT systems and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience with:
- Medical software and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Familiarity with system integration in healthcare settings.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Technical support in healthcare or contact center environments
- Previous Experience working with the Veteran Health Administration.
