Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions focused on ITSM (IT Service Management), ITOM (IT Operations Management) and other related modules.
- Align the ServiceNow solutions with the enterprise architecture and IT strategy.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the workflows in scope.
- Manage platform activities, including upgrades, patches and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements.
- Execute and manage processes for the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Drive efforts to enhance the quality and accuracy of the Configuration Items (CIs) maintained and discovered in the CMDB.
- Determine the key CI attributes to capture in the CMDB.
- Work with Application/Infrastructure SMEs to validate the relationship information contained in the CMDB for key applications.
- Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow CMDB and automated CI Discovery tools across production and non-production environments.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the ServiceNow platform and support teams.
- Supports ITIL best practices and ensures compliance with internal security and governance policies.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of IT experience or
- Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of IT experience or
- Associate's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of IT experience or
- High School Diploma/GED a minimum of 10 years of IT experience
- Expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, required.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions, required.
- Experience in designing ServiceNow environments that are scalable, secure, and integrated within complex enterprise settings, required.
- Experience in overseeing ServiceNow technical teams or projects, required.
- Proven experience to collaborate with and oversee third-party vendors and integrators, required.
- Rapidly absorbs new technical information and applies it effectively, required.
- Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and ITAM database structures, data management, and process enhancement, required.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Excellent collaboration and team building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possesses strong technical aptitude
- Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments
- Driver's License Required
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
- Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday
- Ability to read small print and symbols
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
