As a Pharmacy Tech I, you will perform activities involved in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Technician completes pharmacy functions that do not require a licensed pharmacist, which allows pharmacist more time for clinical activities.
Work Schedule: .5 FTE; Monday through Friday - 8am to 430pm; 9am to 530pm; 11am to 730pm; 130pm to 10pm; Saturday and Sundays: 9am to 9pm
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) – required at hire/start date.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)-required within 1 year of hire/start date
- Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians
- Must be at least 18 years old
- At least 6 months of previous pharmacy technician experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience
