About the Department

The City of Muskego, Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Full-Time Highway Patrol Worker in our Department of Public Works Streets Division. If you enjoy working outdoors with an exceptional team of people and are interested in areas that include construction, maintenance, snow removal, leaf pickup, road repairs and related service activities, we encourage you to apply. Minimum Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license 
• Ability to obtain a valid commercial driver’s license within one year of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational/technical training in equipment operation
• One to two years construction experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge skills and abilities. 
• Valid CDL. 

The hourly rate is $26.50 to $34.44 per hour DOQ. This position also offers a great benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, WRS retirement, sick and vacation leave.
