Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our on-site product verification & validation team in Clarion, IA. Hagie Manufacturing is a leader in the agricultural industry in providing crop protection solutions to customers. As a member of our product validation team, you will work to test components and/or complex systems on existing and new products. You will work with other members of the engineering staff in a team environment to ensure that product development goals are met. This position reports to the Test Engineering Supervisor. 

1. Essential Functions: 

• Plans, coordinates and performs product test activities including setup, teardown, data analysis and data reporting in support of the Product Verification and Validation plans across all Hagie products.  This includes the following: 

• Full vehicle and sub-system data acquisition (via eDAQ, etc) to verify design solutions achieve intended design requirements, specifications and customer expectations 
• Detailed documentation and communication of results within our internal systems (Vision and/or Rally) for prioritization & resolution 

• Works in a team environment, providing input to design solutions, providing test data and feedback to various functional teams in support of product validation on Hagie products. 

• Works regularly with Product Engineering, Engineering Support and other functional groups at Hagie and within Deere to accomplish work objectives, may include coordinating, assigning and reviewing portions of work with others for support. 

• Become a regular and proficient operator of large machinery (forklift, sprayer, detasseler, etc.) 

• Provide technical support to other functional areas (ME, Marketing, SM, Customer Support) at times as needed 

• Primary work completion will be completed in Clarion, but may involve some testing at Des Moines Works and other field travel at times.
