Vermeer All Roads in Annapolis Junction, MD is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field/Road Mechanic to join our growing team. You will travel daily to customer sites to diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer machinery and components, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and on time. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, production bonuses, and excellent benefits.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay $25-40/hr base on experience
- Production bonuses available
- Store hours M-F, 7 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities
- Service, repair and recondition Vermeer equipment
- Diagnose malfunctions with hydraulics, electrical and hydrostatic areas
- Recommend repairs and prepare cost estimates. CDK a plus!
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
- Stay current with industry and technical advancements
- Communicate with factory for technical support
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (must be insured by our carrier)
- Ability to travel daily to customer locations
- Positive attitude and ability to multi-task effectively
