Be part of a company that invests in your future!PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide multi-skilled maintenance/electrical support focused on customer service, quality, cost and productivity in a TPM and CI environmentInspect, disassemble, and reassemble gears, gear units, and gearboxes; check for lubrication issues and bearing failures.Understand and troubleshoot various mechanical components, including compressors, motors, pumps, and bearings.Perform shaft alignment using different methods and tools; handle gaskets, packing, and mechanical seals.Operate and maintain CNC machining equipment, manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.Use hand and power tools to replace components, recalibrate machinery, and resolve equipment issues; read pneumatic system diagrams and measure vibration in equipment.Promote a safety culture Focused on developing maintenance skills and abilitiesDemonstrate respectful workplace behaviorContinuing job-related education is requiredQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSMUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONSUnderstand the hazards of and working on electrical componentsUnderstand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of basic complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)Test and perform preventative maintenanceUnderstand basic electrical circuits and safely requirementsUnderstand basic function of PLC, drives and controlsNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONSUnderstand construction and ratings of cables and conductors, factors that determine the size and types of conductors, and the procedures for making proper connections - Ability to select connectors and splice and install conductorsProficient at cutting, bending and installing pipeUnderstand, maintain, and troubleshoot AC and DC motors and drivesUse electrical test equipment to measure current voltage and resistanceUnderstand trouble shooting process for basic electrical equipment and electrical systemsBasic troubleshoot PLC, drives, HMIPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARYSome heavy lifting required to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc., at low frequency. Equipment is provided to move / manipulate heavy componentsOccasionally lift /carry objects up to 100 poundsOccasionally squat, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel and balanceRequires repetitive action such as simple staring, grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating.
