METTLER TOLEDO is seeking to hire a Product Compliance Leader for its Worthington, Ohio location. This role will be responsible for overseeing product compliance activities for the North American Business Units, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory and industry standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Support corporate Compliance Circle activities by being the local Subject Matter Expert for product safety regulations and standards in the North, Central, and South American markets. Actively work with Engineering, Marketing, Procurement and Production to ensure product safety obligations are identified early in the design cycle and carried out through the lifecycle of the product.Oversee that product technical files are properly maintained to provide evidence of product compliance.Be the point of contact with third party approval agencies (NRTL's, NB's, CB's etc.) during all phases of the product evaluation process; providing appropriate two-way communication between all stakeholders.Responsible for compliance readiness for new or transfer projectsSupport all external third party agency audits related to product safety and hazardous location.Train personnel in the methods of product safety and product compliance.  Provide support and guidance to other METTLER TOLEDO facilities in this area on an as requested basis.
