Test Strip Mechanical Engineering Co-op bei Nova Biomedical Corporation

Nova Biomedical is hiring a Test Strips Manufacturing Co-Op in our Manning Road, Billerica, MA facility for the January 2026 Co-Op cycle (January - July 2026). Working under the direction of a Manufacturing Engineer and/or Manager, the Co-Op will help support the Test Strip Manufacturing area. Responsibilities include: providing technical assistance to the engineering operation by performing evaluations and validations of the existing and new equipment used in the manufacturing of Test Strips and assisting in collecting and monitoring production data. Support includes working with production personnel, with process equipment and in ways to keep the operation constantly running. Other responsibilities include:

• Help generate process documents for the daily use by production personnel
• Assist in performing process validation protocols on process equipment
• Work with technicians/Engineers in troubleshooting production process equipment
• Assist in analysis and reporting of the validation results
• Design simple tooling using Solidworks to aid in the manufacturing process
• Generate ECOs, MVs, Process Procedures and other documents used in the manufacturing operation

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

• Must be enrolled in a technical degree program
• Must possess the knowledge of computers and Microsoft Windows programs
• Experience with AutoCAD/Solidworks a plus
• Good communication and computer skills

Education

• Enrolled in accredited Engineering Program
