Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the effective and accurate financial and administrative operations of accounts payable.
Essential Functions/Duties:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Perform day to day processing, ensuring that the customer accounts are maintained in an accurate and up-to-date manner.
- Enters and codes all invoices into Solomon AP module.
- Scans all vouchers and memos into Sharepoint (myPE).
- Updates voucher status upon approval.
- Reviews monthly statements and requests invoice copies from vendors as needed.
- Maintains all accounts payables files both physical and electronic.
- Provides customer information to Plastic Express President, Vice-Presidents, and CFO.
Required Education and Experience
- Familiarity with Invoicing
- Familiar with some financial system, e.g. MS Dynamics, Quickbooks, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft
- Some accounting knowledge
- PC proficiency
- Data entry skills and ability to operate office machines
- Interpersonal skills
- General math skills

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners. May be required to also conduct warehouse walk-throughs to validate inventory of material.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Compensation:
- $20.00-$23.00 per hour, non-exempt, based on experience.
