Working with our exams team you will contribute towards the running and supervision of GCSE, A Level examinations and other assessment at the college. You will be responsible for the supervision of students including when they enter and vacate the exam room. 
Experience and an enhanced DBS would be advantageous, however full training will be given. 

To be successful you must demonstrate you can:  
  • Understand and apply instructions with accurate attention to detail, in accordance with regulations. 
  • Carry out sole invigilation or invigilation as part of an invigilation team 
  • Assist with setting up of examinations. 
  • Distribute and collate exam papers. 
  • Be vigilant at all times and able to act with authority when required. 
  • Demonstrate confidentiality. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply instructions with accurate attention to detail, in accordance with JCQ (ICE) regulations. Carry out sole invigilation or as part of an invigilation team 
  • Assist with setting up of examinations 
  • Ensure the correct paperwork is completed accurately and retained in accordance with the Exam Office processes  Distribute and collate exam papers, ensuring candidates receive the correct assessment. 
  • Be vigilant at all times and able to act with authority when required, ensuring candidates comply with instructions Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality 

• To contribute fully to the mission and values statement of the College Group ensuring its effective implementation in all aspects of College life
• To take proactive responsibility for Health & Safety to ensure that a safe working environment and safe working practices are maintained at all times
• To comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
