Lease Clearing Accountant FTC bei WINCANTON

Overview

We are looking for a Lease Clearing Accountant to join us for an FTC until the end of May 2026. The Finance Shared Services Centre is a fast moving, customer focused team, providing a range of professional services to support the Wincanton business and its customers. 

The successful applicant will take responsibility for the reconciliation of the Lease clearing account including compliance with IFRS16 reporting. 

The role is hybrid with a requirement to be onsite Tuesday and Wednesday each week. 

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and can be flexible with start and finish times. 

How will you contribute?

• Cleanse the Lease clearing account 

• Reconcile the Lease clearing account

• Liaise with other department to resolve reconciling items/queries

• Identify areas for continued improvement and create a controls environment in line with the accounting controls framework to mitigate the risk of material error or misstatement.
• Working with a continuous improvement mindset
• Adhoc duties as required
   

What will you bring?

• Experience of a similar role
• IFRS16 Lease accounting experience
• Excellent data manipulation skills
• Good understanding and experience of balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills and diligent individual
• Strong excel skills
• Experience of working under pressure, prioritizing, and managing competing deadlines
• Previous AP experience
• You will ideally be ACA / ACCA / CIMA Part-Qualified
