We have an exciting career opportunity for a Project Coordinator eager to join our talented Strategy & Foresight Department!

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Manager, Fare Policy and Planning, you will provide coordination on project activities through the project lifecycle, from initial planning to completion. As Project Coordinator, you will also provide support to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule. Your assigned projects are of medium to high complexity.  You will coordinate and conduct various Fare Policy and Planning related projects and business cases ranging from large to small and long-term to short-term from initial planning to completion.  As Project Coordinator, act as a key point of contact for projects and overall program governance. Liaise and coordinate with the project team, TTC staff, internal and external stakeholders as required to collaborate and exchange information.  In addition, you will participate in the development and implementation of departmental business plans, budget objectives and workforce requirements as well as develop project schedules based on input from the project team. As a Project Coordinator, you will provide project control support for all aspects of the project lifecycle including monitoring, scheduling, as well as cost analysis and cost reconciliations for assigned projects and perform a variety of studies and research assignments, requiring analysis and interpretation of data, and provide administrative support to the team, as needed   In addition, you will monitor progress and performance against established terms of reference and work plans as well as prepare variance reports and explanations for management, identifying potential problem areas and recommend corrective action as required. You will coordinate the preparation of weekly and monthly reports related to future project requirements, workload forecasts, and performance measurement reporting as well as track and monitor outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution. As a Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with all team members to ensure project deliverables are met and support the implementation of policy enhancements for the TTC and ensure that the quality of the time customers spend with TTC meets the highest standards of transit worldwide.
