The Role
- Must have exposure to
- Geotechnical investigation report/recommendations for offshore portion including Bathymetric data.
- Dredging including prevent slope failure by uncontrolled breaching, liquefaction or shear failure, causing damage to structures, land or foundation ground.
- Break water structure and shore protection
- Land reclamation using dredged sand and associated works for onshore facility.
- Offshore Piling including review of shop drawings for pile splices, mill test certificates, welding, inspection & test reports for steel piles , Pile load test and pile-driving analyser (PDA) test for ensuring capacity requirements
- Jetty structures, berthing & mooring dolphins structures including connecting gang way, fenders and approach trestle.
- Cold water discharge networks
- Corrosion protection system for marine C&S works
- Top side platforms and supporting Jacket engineering and execution for offshore platforms
- Jetty approach bridge structures from land to Jetty
- Must have sound working experience in using Indian, Euro and American standards for Civil & structural and marine works.
- Thorough experience in production of deliverables such as General arrangement drawings for Civil & steel works, RC Detail drawings including all marine works, Steel connection detail drawing, Dredging & Earth work Lay out & detail drawings & supporting Calculations.
- Should have experience on constructability review.
- Exposure to American petroleum Industry & OISD requirement for Civil & Structural and Marine works will be plus point.

Responsibilities
The key objectives for this role are:
- Review of Marine work contractors’ drawings and document
- Attending internal meeting & model review with client as Marine work leader
- Monitoring the project schedules/Quantities/Changes through timely review and comments
- Ensuring all deliverables are comply with quality as per Wood /Client/Project/Code specifications & standards.
- Review of vendor drawings/other discipline drawings for adequacy of Civil design input requirements
- Provide inputs on permit, constructability and best engineering practice requirement.

Qualifications
Qualification: BE /B.Tech Civil Engineering/Marine/Ocean Engineering
Years of experience: 20Yrs-35Yrs
- Graduate Engineer with minimum 20 years’ experience in Civil and Structural, Marine and ocean Design, should be conversant with international codes and standards.
- Major experience (more than 15 years) should be from Marine works.
- Experience in PMC role handling Marine works independently is essential.
- Work exposure to 3D tools (PDS/PDMS) and discipline software such as Staad offshore/SAC etc. required.
- Hands on experience on proposal estimate including man hour estimate, Cost & Quantity estimate
- Communication and Management skills to handle Client & Construction contractor is required.
- Master’s degree in offshore/Ocean/ Marine works preferred.
