Join Stockland’s Built Form Development team in Melbourne as an Assistant Development Manager, supporting the delivery of high-quality residential projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring developments are scoped, designed, and delivered in line with Stockland’s strategic framework, starting with the exciting Oak Place community in Wantirna—a Masterplanned townhouse development focused on sustainability and liveability.
This role is based from our Melbourne CBD office with regular travel to project office.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project scoping, design, and delivery
- Assist with financial planning, contracts, and approvals
- Contribute to planning approvals and stakeholder engagement
- Respond to customer queries and support cross-functional collaboration
- Help manage risk and review project outcomes
About You
You’re a proactive self-starter with experience in property development or transferable skills from related industries. You bring strong stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, and a passion for community-focused outcomes. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a related discipline with prior relevant experience
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter is a must;
- Knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
- Ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Resilience and excellent communication skills.
- Commercial acumen.
- Strong report writing skills.
