Want to bring ideas to life?
At Aurecon, we’ve been shaping the future through design, engineering, and advisory for decades. But why should you choose to join us?
Because every project we deliver leaves a legacy. Sustainability is at the heart of every decision we make. And innovation drives everything we do.
But it really comes down to one question: what kind of world do you want to help create for the next generation? The choices we make today will shape tomorrow — from local communities to the entire planet. One of those choices is deciding who you’ll work with to make it happen.
How will your ideas help shape what’s next?
As our new Condition Assessor, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the future of the Northern Territory. This isn’t just an office job — it’s an opportunity to get out into the field, travel across the Territory, and see some of Australia’s most iconic locations while making a real difference to communities. Your role will include:
Completing condition assessments on a wide range of assets - from health centers to schools, police stations, national park infrastructure and more.
Travelling right across the NT, from Darwin’s urban hubs to remote communities in every corner of the Territory.
Identifying building service elements such as HVAC, electrical systems and hydraulics.
Pinpointing safety issues to ensure the ongoing wellbeing of local communities.
Forging a career in asset management with clear pathways into leadership and project management once you’ve mastered inspections.
Adventure meets purpose
This role is as unique as the Territory itself. You won’t just be ticking boxes - you’ll be four-wheel driving across rugged landscapes, visiting world-famous landmarks like Uluru, Kings Canyon, Kakadu, Mataranka, Nitmiluk, Arnhem Land and more. Each day will bring something new, and adventure is very much part of the job.
What are we looking for from you?
We’re after someone with genuine drive, a sense of adventure and a willingness to explore all corners of the NT. Formal qualifications aren’t required - we’ll provide full training - but what is essential is:
A can-do attitude and strong communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Initiative, ownership and a flexible mindset
Experience in construction, asset management or remote work would be great but it’s not essential.
Why Aurecon?
On a personal level, you’ll enjoy flexible work hours, remote work options and a supportive team every step of the way. But most importantly, you’ll be part of a company that values your individuality and encourages you to bring your ideas to life.
You probably already know some of our iconic projects — the CDU Danala Campus in Darwin CBD? That’s us. Allianz Stadium in Sydney? Ours too. The Tseung Kwan O Interchange in Hong Kong? Yes, also us.
When you join Aurecon, you’re not just joining an international design, engineering, and advisory company. You’re joining a community working together to tackle some of the world’s most complex challenges.
Ready for the adventure?
If you’re excited to bring your ideas to life and take your career somewhere extraordinary, apply today. Your background, individuality, and aspirations will be valued here.
