The DTC Operations Coordinator will be instrumental in driving the day-to-day execution of Gibson’s Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) initiatives across Ecommerce and retail channels. This role will support Gibson DTC’s operations, coordinate promotional campaigns and product launches, manage inventory flow, and assist in reporting and analytics. Working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer service teams, the DTC Operations Coordinator will help ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about music and digital commerce.
Essential Functions
- Support daily operations of the brand’s Ecommerce site and physical retail locations, with a focus on North America and collaboration with international teams.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns and product launches, ensuring timely execution and alignment with marketing calendars.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across Ecommerce and physical retail channels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with supply chain and planning teams to track inbound inventory and align with sales forecasts.
- Partner with Customer Service to help resolve customer inquiries and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Assist in compiling reports on sales performance, inventory status, and promotional effectiveness.
- Support cross-functional projects related to digital growth, retail integration, and customer experience improvements.
- Stay informed on trends in the guitar and music gear industry to help inform product presentation and customer engagement strategies.

Required Education and Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Ecommerce, retail operations, or digital merchandising—preferably in the music, lifestyle, or consumer goods industries.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Essential Knowledge
- Experience with inventory planning and demand forecasting to support product availability and minimize excess stock.
- Understanding of Ecommerce operations, including order fulfillment, returns, and customer journey optimization.
- Familiarity with retail operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and merchandising principles.
- Understanding of product lifecycle management and how it impacts Ecommerce and retail strategies.
