Your Responsibilities:
- Validate accounting team outputs for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Lead variance, trend, and root cause analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Foster collaboration between dealerships and corporate functions to ensure financial and operational alignment.
- Act as liaison for auditors, tax advisors, regulatory agencies, ESOP partners, and the company’s dealer management system (DMS) provider.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), including compliance, reporting, and coordination with plan administrators.
- Partner with accounting managers (dealerships and sub-companies) to maintain high standards in financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 7 to10 years of accounting leadership experience, preferably in automotive retail or a multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, dealership accounting practices, and internal controls.
- Proven experience auditing or reviewing complex financial statements.
- Proficiency with DMS, ERP, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Valid Driver’s License Required
