As a Medical Malpractice Litigation Attorney, you will play a critical role in representing clients who have suffered harm due to medical negligence. You will oversee gathering medical records, expert reports, and other evidence, as well as negotiating settlement offers. Working closely with your team, you will draft demand letters, conduct depositions, and pursue fair outcomes for your clients through settlement or trial.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution.

  • Evaluate the merits of medical malpractice claims and develop case strategies.

  • Provide guidance and counsel to clients through clear, compassionate communication.

  • Review medical records, coordinate with expert witnesses, and prepare cases for trial.

  • Negotiate settlements and advocate aggressively on behalf of clients.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Florida medical malpractice law.

  • Manage a substantial caseload while providing leadership and direction to support staff.

  • Draft pleadings, create litigation plans, and conduct discovery.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 5+ years of medical malpractice litigation experience.

  • Trial experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven leadership skills to build and manage a legal team.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work closely with clients during challenging times.

  • Determination to achieve the best results for clients and win cases.
