CDL or Non-CDL Bus Driver
On-Call – Part Time
The York County Transportation Program seeks a qualified individual to transport persons to and from their destination for general public Demand Response and Flex Routes. Requires assisting all passengers, including those using mobility devices on and off the vehicle.
The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Must be available for both shifts within the hours of Operation, 6 AM – Midnight.
- A minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience.
- Route transportation or delivery experience preferred.
- A clean driving record with good defensive driving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of maintaining accurate record keeping of all passengers and vehicle statistics.
- The ability to communicate with clients with courtesy and respect.
- Must be able to comply with Federal drug/alcohol testing requirements and all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations according to the US Dept. of Transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and pre-employment drug screen.
Training will be provided as applicable; Pay commensurate with experience.
