JOB PURPOSE

 

The Assembly Riveter holds a crucial position, ensuring the precision and durability of assembled AK products. This role will specialize in providing for the production department’s riveting applications. The Assembly Riveter will continue also be responsibility for reviewing and inspecting completed rivets and riveting applications.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Operate riveting machines or use hand tools to rivet assemblies and subassemblies together
  • Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on riveting equipment
  • Ensure all materials and components are correctly positioned before starting the riveting process
  • Adherent to all safety regulations and procedures while performing tasks
  • Record and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or workmanship
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize assembly processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • All other duties, as assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diplomas or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role
  • Familiarity with different types of rivets and their applications
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to the manufacturing industry
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot common issues
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and assembly techniques
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
  • Capability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

Preferred Qualification:

  • Previous Manufacturing or Assembly experience
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to understand assembly instructions
  • Previous experience working in Firearm industry.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Work is performed in an operational manufacturing-warehouse environment without climate control. Loud noise and driving forklifts will be present quite often. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend or holiday hours. Overtime may be required to meet operational needs.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, counting, and moderate computer work. Team members will be lifting objects from less than 20 pounds to 60 pounds.
