Description:

Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company, is looking for TUAS/SUAS (Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System/Small Unmanned Aircraft System) Platform Instructors to work in Sierra Vista, Arizona, in support of TUAS/SUAS instruction conducted at the 2-13th Aviation Regiment on Fort Huachuca. The candidate will provide instruction and train Army personnel in TUAS/SUAS core maintenance and/or aviation academics.  To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities:

• The Platform Instructor assists in the revision of and preparation of course of instruction materials based on subject-matter knowledge and research to include lesson plans, course manuals, background materials, workbooks, handouts, course assessment forms, study guides, and training aids.
• Provides instruction for TUAS/SUAS (Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System/Small Unmanned Aircraft System) Maintenance and Aviation Academic Training. Instructors shall utilize conference, demonstration, and practical exercises, IAW the respective POI, to train military personnel in aviation maintenance fundamentals; basic electronics; and maintenance. Sets up equipment required for classroom and practical exercise instruction.
• Platform Instructor requirements include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
• • Conduct UAS instruction using lesson plans and material provided by the Government IAW the applicable regulations.
  • Test/re-test student(s) in accordance with Government provided references, procedures, and forms.
  • Grade students' work in accordance with Government provided references, procedures, and forms.
• provide administrative feedback on students' academic performance verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

TUAS with a 15E or 15W Qualification Course Certificate.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

TUAS/SUAS instruction experience.

Completion of contractor driver’s certification course.

FAA Class II Flight Physical - Not Required but preferred.

Secret Clearance or Higher - Not Required but preferred.
