Position Summary:
Chen Moore & Associates (CMA) is seeking a creative, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Learning Specialist to lead the production of learning and business development content for our multidisciplinary engineering and architecture design firm. This role is central to developing and maintaining content, organizing digital learning assets, supporting the firm’s learning platforms, and designing visual learning aids. The Learning Specialist will also assist in maintaining the knowledge library and analyzing data to support the team’s goals.
The ideal candidate has strong graphic and instructional design skills, experience with learning and business technologies, and the ability to support a culture of continuous learning across technical and professional domains.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Media Production Support
- Assist in developing visually engaging and user-friendly learning materials such as guides, presentations, infographics, and eLearning assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to help translate technical and business information into clear, structured learning content.
- Support the production of internal business development collateral including learning-focused marketing pieces or staff communications.
Graphics & Visual Design
- Create consistent and professional visual assets for training and business development using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Canva, or similar.
- Assist with layout and formatting of documents, videos, and presentations to ensure clarity, visual appeal, and branding alignment.
Learning Platform Support
- Help maintain and update the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) with new courses, resources, and user data.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and administrative support for LXP users, ensuring timely access to learning materials and resources.
- Coordinate uploads, permissions, tagging, and tracking of learning content in the LXP or other digital platforms.
Library & Resource Management
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a centralized knowledge library including standards, training files, certifications, templates, and project reference materials.
- Tag and catalog digital content to ensure ease of use and discoverability by employees across disciplines.
Data & Reporting
- Support the collection and organization of learning data from surveys, LXP reports, and engagement metrics.
- Help generate periodic reports on course completions, attendance, and feedback to support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Communications, Education, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a support role within training, learning development, marketing or digital content creation.
- Familiarity with the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of LMS platforms
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Experience with basic video editing or presentation software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with supportive, collaborative attitude.
