Position Summary

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the Specialty Pharmacy provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with complex, chronic, and rare conditions requiring specialty medications. This role ensures safe, effective, and cost-conscious use of specialty therapies through clinical assessment, patient education, monitoring, and collaboration with providers and care teams. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist serves as a subject matter expert in specialty disease states, supports patient adherence, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree required.
• Licensure: Active and Unrestricted Pharmacist License in Florida 
• Certification (Preferred): Board Certification (e.g., BCPS, BCACP, CSP, or other specialty certification) 
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Clinical Pharmacy Experience; prior specialty Pharmacy or Ambulatory care experience preferred
