Job Summary:
An Operations Manager at VML Live is an integral team member of the project delivery team responsible for supporting cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of work. This role will assist in coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency. The role will also serve as the point of contact and project manager for systems integration into VML. You will support VML Live by understanding the project lifecycle and eliminating any hurdles that may be preventing our teams from performing at their best. This role is temporary (approximately 4-6 months).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and facilitate inter-agency workflow processes and team structures
- Project manage the integration of systems with VML
- Oversee resource to revenue projections with client engagement and production partners
- Ensure communication and a streamlined work process across departments
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their operational needs and challenges
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Manage and oversee various operational projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation
Qualifications:
- 4-8 years’ experience in project operations, project coordination, or related field, prior agency experience required.
- Demonstrates exceptional planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable operating with ambiguity.
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Comfortable learning a diverse array of new tools and systems, and helping others problem-solve within each.
- Extensive proficiency in Microsoft and Google environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NetSuite, OpenAir, and Workday.
- Familiarity with the events/marketing/media industry.
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
