Accounts Receivable Specialist bei Thermal Specialties

Thermal Specialties is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist  for our Shared Services Division in Tulsa, OK. This position would be a full-time hybrid position working Monday through Friday. Thermal Specialties is a family-owned custom manufacturer and service organization.  We provide comprehensive solutions to meet our customers’ needs. From next-generation industrial furnace systems and heat-treating capabilities to refractory installation and repair and insulation materials, Thermal Specialties is the single-source provider for high-temperature thermal processing applications.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform cash applications daily, Import invoices from external billing system, email/mail statements monthly or as requested, collection of delinquent accounts.  Verify discrepancies and resolve customers' billing issues.  
• Guide customers through our online application process, run credit inquiries and apply credit matrix policies to determine credit extension and credit limits. Set up customers and work with accounting to ensure proper tax codes are set up.
• Large Account Credit Management- Work with external credit insurance company to update them with information on tier 2 and listed customers to ensure compliance.
• Communication with management team to keep them abreast of the current AR position and work through any collection issues.
• Remittance of sales tax returns and management of sales tax documents.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

• Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to multi task and work under deadlines.  
• Skilled in the use of MS Office applications, especially Excel.  
• Experience with Quick Books and or Sage 100 preferred.  
• A Bachelors degree in Accounting with 2 years experience or a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in accounting is required.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
• Optional hybrid schedule (2 remote days per week)
