Job Title: Logistics Manager

We are expanding our Supply Chain team and seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize shipping, receiving, and transportation operations across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:

  • Manage shipping and receiving operations across the company, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all hazmat regulations for shipping of materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline logistics processes.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage Inventory system across multiple sites, ensuring accuracy of inventory through auditing, cycle counts, training, and process improvement.
  • Work with Operations and Manufacturing to ensure inventory on hand meets production schedules.
  • Develop and implement on-site transportation and replenishment processes to support manufacturing.

Transportation Management:

  • Manage 3PL providers to ensure delivery of goods across the company, to and from multiple X-Bow sites.
  • Dispatch CDL drivers for transportation needs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Optimize transportation schedules to meet project deadlines and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and maintain transportation equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Logistics Oversight:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to support company operations and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements.
  • Collaborate with site teams and corporate leadership to align logistics operations with company goals.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor logistics staff at multiple sites, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, transportation, or supply chain operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing transportation schedules.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and transportation processes.
  • Experience managing Logistics operations in a highly-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ATF compliance a plus.
  • Experience dispatching CDL drivers and managing transportation equipment.

Leadership and Problem-Solving:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage logistics teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
