About the organization: Compass Family Services is a 100+ year old nonprofit working on the front lines of San Francisco’s homeless crisis. We provide families experiencing or at risk of homelessness with comprehensive support to address immediate needs and ensure long-term success.
About the Program: Compass Behavioral Health Services provides crisis intervention and trauma informed therapy to families engaged in any of the Compass Family Services programs and HSH funded housing sites. Our services reflect our understanding of the complexities of trauma as well as the range of traumatic experiences. Compass Family Services has created systems to train and support the staff on providing these trauma sensitive services to the families. Our approach involves training and education, supervision and support, attention to self-care for both the individual and the organization, attention to creating a welcoming and safe environment, and development of policies and procedures that reflect our understanding of how trauma has impacted the families.
Salary: $94,000 - $97,000 annually
Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, primarily during standard business hours
Location: 37 Grove St. and 1254 Market St, San Francisco

Responsibilities Include:
- Provide individual clinical supervision to MFT trainees, interns and therapy staff who are collecting hours toward licensure.
- Facilitate weekly clinical groups for MFT therapists, trainees and/or interns who are collecting hours toward licensure.
- Work closely with the CBHS Leadership Team to:
- Evaluate interns, students and staff therapists.
- Plan and design trainings and programming.
- Screen and assign clients referred for therapy.
- Ensure that all therapists are in compliance with BBS requirements.
- Provide clinical consultation to other Compass programs and staff as needed to ensure that services are delivered with a trauma informed lens.
Qualifications:
- LMFT or LCSW and at least two years clinical supervision experience required
- California licensed clinician required
- Fluency in Spanish and English required
- Substance Abuse and /or dual diagnosis training/experience.
- Experience with crisis intervention; ability to handle multiple crisis situations
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to working on a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with homeless/disenfranchised communities.
- Experience working with individuals, families, children and groups.
- Deep commitment to and demonstrated success discussing, integrating, and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging throughout a complex and dynamic organization
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $94,000 - $97,000 annually. Exempt (salaried) role.
- Paid time off: 4 weeks of vacation in the first year, 5 weeks in following years. Also paid holidays, sick time, family leave, time off for education.
- Insurance: health, dental and vision insurance are fully covered by Compass for employees and dependent children. We also provide long term disability and life insurance.
- Retirement: after one year of work, Compass contributes an amount equal to 5% of your salary into a retirement account; this vests during years 2-6.

- After the first 3 months, staff have the option to work from home one day per week pending manager approval
