Job Title: Manufacturing Shop Operator
Location: Fall River, MA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
About the Role:
The D2G Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Shop Operator to join our team in Fall River. This role is responsible for facilitating the cutting, finishing, storing, cleaning, and shipping of wood and plastic products while ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality at every stage of the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare each job according to job orders, written instructions, or verbal direction.
Inspect completed products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
Move finished products between workstations and shipping as needed.
Operate shop equipment and machinery in compliance with safety requirements.
Report any problems, discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions to management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communication skills; proficiency in English required.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Experience with shop equipment such as table saws and routers preferred.
CNC experience is a big plus.
Environment & Physical Requirements:
Work performed in a manufacturing/production environment.
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and use of hand tools on a continual basis.
Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment when needed.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of manufacturing experience required, preferably in a shop setting.
