MISSION: To educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.
Nursing: This pool accepts applications for potential openings for part-time instructors (adjuncts) that may arise throughout the year and is not a guarantee of an open position. Adjuncts for the nursing program have historically taught sections of theory, lab, and/or clinical.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education: A master’s degree in nursing is required to teach theory. Exhibit expertise (either work or research) in the discipline to be taught. Applicants teaching clinical need an Oregon State Nursing License. Prior teaching experience preferred. Currently, the immediate need is for an instructor to teach the Mental Health Nursing theory class and clinical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develop course schedules and syllabi.
- Identify and meet the learning needs of students.
- Supervise students in the clinical setting.
- Perform Biblical Integration in line with Corban’s Statement of Faith.
- Develop and administer formative and summative assessment instruments for students’ progress and competence.
- Work closely and maintain consistent communication with Nursing program faculty.
Character: The candidate must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence a mature Christian faith, be in agreement with the University’s Statement of Faith, and be committed to the integration of biblical principles within the discipline of nursing.

The university is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Corban provides a strong Bible-centered academic program with more than 50 majors and programs of study including professional, liberal arts, and ministries. Along with traditional and adult degree completion programs at the undergraduate level, Corban offers graduate teacher licensure programs and graduate degrees in education, business, counseling, and ministry.
