DESCRIPTIVE SUMMARY

North Idaho Dermatology is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Women’s Health Provider in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This individual will work collaboratively within a specialty dermatology and wellness environment, ensuring seamless clinical operations and exceptional patient experience in our Women’s Health service line. • Clinical Support:
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist the Women’s Health provider during procedures and exams.
  • Accurately document patient vitals, histories, symptoms, and reason for visit.
  • Administer injections, immunizations, and assist with gynecological procedures as needed.
  • Provide patient education and post-visit care instructions with clarity and empathy.
  • Collect and process lab specimens in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Coordination & Workflow:
  • Support patient flow by managing room turnover and supply stocking.
  • Schedule follow-ups and coordinate imaging/lab orders as directed by the provider.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Maintain privacy and adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control policies.
• Patient Communication:
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and provider—answering questions, following up on results, and reinforcing treatment plans.
  • Provide compassionate support for women facing sensitive health concerns, including hormonal care, preventative screenings, and wellness visits.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensure: Active LPN or RN license in the State of Idaho (required).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical or surgical setting (Women’s Health, Dermatology, or Family Practice experience preferred).
• Skills:
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
  • Comfort and professionalism in handling women’s health concerns.
  • EMR proficiency (experience with EMA is a plus but not necessary).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Schedule: Full-time, weekdays (no weekends or holidays); aligned with Women’s Health provider’s schedule.
• Location: Based in our Coeur d’Alene, Idaho clinic.
• Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on licensure level and experience; includes access to clinic benefits.
