As the Central Teams Operations Manager you will oversee the implementation and management of centralized systems and processes that foster a positive culture of volunteerism. This includes administrative and compliance oversight regarding volunteer and staff processes and offering operational and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of key team initiatives and events across all of our campuses. In addition you will collaborate with campus staff to ensure compliance with guidelines that protect the church and its community to foster a culture of safety by supporting, guiding, equipping, and empowering our staff to maintain this principle. You will also seek to find efficiencies and improvements to our current systems in order to best support our volunteer teams.

The salary range for this position is between $54,000 - $74,000 and is dependent upon levels of experience and/or education.

   

   

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to all ministries guaranteeing all staff are trained on using volunteer systems and processes, ensuring that all volunteers undergo a timely screening process, and flagging any concerns discovered in the process for review by the Pastoral Protection Team. 
  • Collaborate to create and implement training programs that enhance our volunteer systems and protection procedures to provide an engaging experience for the entire team. 
  • Ensure everyone is equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed while feeling supported and valued. 
  • Create and sustain multiple systems, platforms, and data that track onboarding, offboarding, and retention rates for volunteer teams in each ministry, such as Hive, Rock, ServeFinder and any other relevant system platforms.
  • Offer central administrative coordination for Discover Willow classes, Team's Invitational event, and other Team's events and assist staff and volunteers who support other ministry events, trainings, retreats, and initiatives.
  • Oversee the administration, execution, and compliance of volunteers who are in positions of leadership, engaging them in our Leadership Agreement process. 
  • Provide coaching, communication, and support to ministry teams, ensuring our leadership values are in place and observed.

Education and Experience:

  • Administrative or operational experience
  • Prior experience with church processes or management
  • Experience in working with cross-departmental teams. 
  • Project management and knowledge of various computer systems are a plus.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience preferred
