We are seeking a Communications and Messaging Manager to lead global messaging efforts that help Church members receive ordinances and keep covenants as they progress along the covenant path. This role is a unique opportunity to shape how the Church communicates its most important initiatives—through thoughtful strategy, unified messaging, and global awareness campaigns.

As a key member of the Communications and Messaging team, you will:
- Amplify prophetic priorities through coordinated messaging across executive councils, General Officers, and departments.
- Craft strategic communication plans that connect members and leaders to essential resources and spiritual guidance.
- Lead global campaigns that reflect cultural sensitivity and resonate with diverse audiences across the Church.
Your work will directly support the Church’s mission to bring individuals closer to Jesus Christ—by helping them understand, access, and act on inspired programs and teachings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multiyear strategic communication plans aligned with executive council objectives.
- Coordinate unified messaging across Church channels, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Partner with product managers and publishing teams to create content that is both strategic and tactical.
- Ensure messaging reflects local customs and cultural practices across global Church areas.
- Lead awareness campaigns that help members and leaders understand the purpose and availability of Church products and programs.
- Report on campaign effectiveness and continuously improve reach and impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business, or related field.
- Eight-plus years of experience in strategic communications, campaign planning, and project management (or equivalent education and experience).
- Proven success in product launches and international campaigns.
- Experience implementing marketing and communication campaigns using various channels and media types.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across departments.
- Deep understanding of Church doctrine, policy, and global cultural practices.
- Ability to present confidently to executive leadership and manage large budgets.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
