Job Summary:
We are looking fora part time Night Auditor (11PM to 7AM) to join our team at Hampton Inn Ogallala, Nebraska 2 nights a week with the opportunity to pick up daytime shifts.
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations during the overnight shift, ensuring guest satisfaction, and accurately balancing hotel financial transactions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Perform nightly audit of hotel revenues and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property during overnight hours.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
- Assist with wake-up calls and other guest services as needed.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining inventory for marketplace.
- Assist with Breakfast set up and coffee bar.
- Follow Hampton Inn brand standards and policies.
- All other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Must be available to work overnight shifts 2 nights per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.
