Join PALFINGER as a Regional Application & Sales Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love and facilitating sales through a team of field sales professionals. You be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. This leader will be based at our Council Bluffs, IA location.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand customer needs to identify product gaps, generate innovative ideas, and drive growth through improved experiences and expanded market share.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to translate product strategy into actionable plans, including requirements, prototypes, pricing, positioning, and marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver customer-centric solutions that meet technical specs, enhance production efficiency, and ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Oversee product launches and provide strategic direction to sales teams, aligning efforts with organizational goals to boost revenue and market presence.
  • Represent the company in customer engagements, support regional sales managers, and assist the VP of Sales with reporting and operational execution.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred, with 10+ years of proven experience in sales leadership and product management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full product lifecycles and launching market-ready solutions.
  • Strong technical foundation in mechanical and hydraulic equipment, with hands-on problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Skilled in developing product and marketing strategies, communicating effectively with executive leadership, and working cross-functionally in matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a track record of coaching teams and driving strategic growth.
