Position: Registered Behavior Technician
Location: The Arc Western Montana and the Missoula Community

- $23.00/hour after RBT certification (or immediately if already certified)

Your Role
- Provide 1:1 therapy using behavior plans developed by a BCBA
- Use ABA techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Record client progress and behavior data accurately
- Support clients and caregivers with therapy goals and behavior strategies
- Work as part of a supportive, collaborative team
- Help modify and maintain individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision
- Maintain RBT certification through ongoing education

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) preferred, or willingness to complete and pass a background check, a 40-hour training program, RBT Competency Assessment, and board examination. Approval paperwork must be submitted to the BACB within 30 days of hire. Paid training is provided if not already certified
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field is preferred
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, techniques, and data collection methods is preferred
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Proof of auto liability insurance in accordance with Montana law, and insurability with The Arc Western Montana’s insurer
